Today we all went out to Wesport for the opening of (our) surfing season. We were expecting gray and rain and were very suprised to fine sun...for those of you not from WA, Grays Harbor on the Olympic Peninsula seems to always be gray and rainy - even if the rest of WA is having great weather. Ar and I both got the chance to surf some and the boys played on the beach and got filthy. I fear that as modern kids they don't get much time to play with abandon without Mom constantly saying No, or come back, or don't go so near that edge. Now we are all sitting around glassy eyed with exhaustion. I wish there were pictures, but we forgot the camera.
On Friday we sent in our Dossier to be sent to Ethiopia. It should only be a few months until we get solid info on who are daughter will be. I definitely find myself as excited about the adoption as I was when I was pregnant.
For those of you nearby - my friend Izzy and I from work are having a fundraiser June 9th for the American Cancer Societies Relay for Life. The shindig will be a French/Morroccan dinner, belly dancers, and an outdoor viewing of Casablanca. Let me know if you are interested and I will give you details.

How exciting that you are adopting! My daughter is headed to an orphanage in Kenya this June and she swears that she will be bringing home some kids home with her. Probably not since she is only 18, but I think that one day, she just might!
*sigh* the beach sounds so nice!
Congrats on the new little girl!! That is awesome that you guys are adopting! I'll be praying it all goes smoothly.
